Here's a neat idea I came up with on the way back to college from Megaplex; sort of a mix of concepts from Back to the Future and Jet Set Radio. In a dystopian city, one of the only ways that benevolent rebels can express themselves and have fun is cruising through the city on the hoverboards, evading the authorities and turning the entire city into one huge playground to stunt race in. I didn't have any characters for it, so I just threw in my fursona and Melon as two members of the infamous Phoenix Riders crew (there are a bunch of different crews throughout the city, sorta like clubs). Aelius is seen here sporting his prized XR-7 Razor, a board designed for high-speed trick racing. Beside him, Melon is holding her trusty GR-19 Tsunami, a well-balanced stunt racer designed for high-flying acrobatics.
There are a number of glaring flaws here (bad symmetry on the boards, goggles that don't fit their eyes, etc.) but overall I like the pic. It was fun trying out some baggy clothes for once.
I hope to throw in more characters, because it's fun designing their boards (I actually made a "hover-board catalogue" as a project in art class back in high school; I oughta find it and use some of those designs), and I've already got some ideas for rival crews, including an Egyptian-themed group calling themselves The Scarabs.
I'm tempted to draw the fursonas of some of my friends in boarder getup as well, just to add more characters in here If anyone wants to try it themselves, I'd love to see what comes up.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
